Boldly Gone...

Fave Sir Patrick Stewart stuff.… aka PatStew

Films: X-Men, and also Star Trek First Contact.

Series: PICARD and all the episodes he was in for the Star Trek NG.

Books: Sonnets of Shakespeare narrated by Sir Patrick Stewart.

Advocate: Refuge and Stop Domestic Violence.

I was very fortunate to see Patrick Stewart on stage in London (2008) with Joshua Jackson in the excellent My Life on Stage. Both possessed a stage presence where neither dominated the other, talented and funny. As a lifelong Trekkie, it was The Next Generation that reignited my love for the ethos of Gene Roddenberry's vision of the future. I adored Captain Picard, and the crew of the Enterprise D. It's why I went with my first initial and middle name. Also, the TV series PICARD is magnificent. I'm truly broken-hearted to hear of his passing and will be forever grateful for his Shakespeare a day during the pandemic lockdown.

Going to see Avengers Doomsday in December will be such bitter sweet sorrow. xoxo
